The Maldives offers hassle-free entry for visitors. All passengers receive a free 30-day Visitor Visa on arrival. Guests must hold passports valid for six months and fill out a mandatory Traveler Declaration form online (IMUGA) within 96 hours of travel. Maldives has no baggage restriction limits on goods beyond some currency declaration ($10,000). Because a large portion of travelers are tourists, customs checks are mainly for security; we remind passengers of any personal duty-free allowances (e.g. alcohol).
For aviation-specific needs, Continuum can assist with crew passports and visas if the Maldivian Authorities require them (in practice, aircrew use the same arrival visa as passengers). If the stay extends beyond 30 days, Maldives allows visa extensions up to 90 days for visitors in resorts.
